About HELLO AXIATA
A pioneer in Cambodia‘s telecommunication industry, the
company began its services with NMP technology in the early 90s.
The company began providing services on the Global System for
Mobile communications (GSM) 900/1800 frequency bands under a
35-year cellular concession in 1996 and over the next few years
has grown organically to expand its network coverage and market share.
In 2007, after a series of mergers and acquisition, under the full
ownership of TMI and the company‘s name was changed to
Telekom Malaysia International (Cambodia) Co., Ltd. A rebranding
exercise saw it operating under the brand name Hello. Since then,
with network coverage in all cities, provinces and main trunk roads
of Cambodia, the company has continued to grow by addressing the
communication needs of local populations with affordable and
innovative products and services.
In March 2010, the company changed its name to Hello Axiata
Company Limited (HACL) following the footsteps of the Group,
whose name was changed from TMI to Axiata Group. This move
reinforces Axiata Group‘s aim at enhancing its position
as a leading regional mobile operator.
Hello Axiata is committed to bring the latest technology
and solutions to every corner of the Kingdom, delivering
enhanced communications that improve the quality of life
of every Cambodian. With good network quality, Hello Axiata
has robust presence in key provinces through its network of
hellopoint branch offices and a comprehensive range of voice
and rich data services. Hello Axiata continues to be dedicated
to excellence in order to bring people closer, transform friendships,
strengthen relationships, deepen partnerships and make life
better for the people of Cambodia.
Hello Axiata furthers its reach by supporting the communities
in which it operates, improving lives by providing much needed
resources for education, sports, music and youth development.
